Charlie is an 8yo purebred bluetick hound who was surrendered by his owner in Memphis because he's not good with the family's one year old daughter. As she became more mobile, the family realized that Charlie was becoming increasingly uncomfortable and that he would be happier in a baby-free environment. Calm, mellow, low maintenance, docile. Well-socialized, loving, good temperament. Good with other dogs but fed separately from others because he's a little territorial with his food. Not cat tested.  Recommended for children 12 years and older.  Medium energy level outside, quiet and well-mannered in the house.  Crate trained and housebroken. Obeys basic commands.  Loves to be with his people.  Good on a leash, rides great in the car.  Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, neutered, weighs about 95 pounds.  AWESOME hound dog will make a wonderful companion  for a family who loves the breed. Because Charlie is officially a senior, his adoption fee is discounted.
